Things have been okay for now, Syukur Alhamdulilah. Not sure if I will fall back into depression. =X Not that I am having one or facing one but there are just some gloomy days I feel especially with the absence of my mom.
And at this very moment, I am just counting down to the number of days left where I will be somebody's fiancé. LOL!
Honestly, I can't believe we will ever reach this far and this phase in life. Yeahs? Engaged to the man I never thought I'll marry since...our history wasn't a pretty picture. Engaged to the man..not even my first love. Hahaha! But Alhamdulilah. Prayers after prayers. Tahajjud after Tahajjud, Allah SWT has answered my prayers. Not exactly in the way I wanted it to be initially; like fairytales. But it is exactly what is best for me. Thank you Allah.
My colleagues have all been such a sweetheart for me, settling my engagement stuff. Trust me, it wasn't easy without Mama. I have to do everything on my own. But not really on my own now, with the help of my friends, colleagues and my relatives, so many people that is helping me, I was overwhelm with the blessing Allah SWT have granted me. Syukur Alhamdulilah. Amin.
So my dulang is OBVIOUSLY handmade. HAHA! Well, dulang is Tray in English. We couldn't get the real dulang because not many people have the dulang nowadays, some told me to rent it which is costly, one dulang can cost me $10 the cheapest and then to buy it, nahhh. Not for a one off or two off thing. It'll be wasted and left to collect dust after that. And to ask someone to do it for us, I bet the price will be even costly. So yes, I let my creativity flowssssss and I handmade the dulang myself with the help of my colleague, mostly Eileen who settle my dulang.
Besides all the dulang nowadays have many many different style, not necessary the metal tray anymore. Hurhur!

We bought everything from Daiso. The dulang is made out of Styrofoam box which I got it from my workplace (save cost), so it's not heavy, just a light one. But with the gubahan and decoration on top, it will be able to give some weight to the dulang. Hehehe!

Previously Adik had her outfit tailor-made and it cost about 90 over dollars. But I wanted to keep it as low cost as possible, so got my engagement outfit from Natalielabella during the Hari Raya sales and it cost me only $50. Lalalala~
For food, my auntie is helping me to cook just some simple dish, to save cost. Well, more awesome dish when we get married okay? Hehehe!
