Meeting FFB

Dear Diary,

I have always been so busy or rather tired lately to even on my laptop and update this space of mine.

Anyway, been doing quite a number of meet up and catch up with my Clique, Bestfriends (FFB) as well as my colleagues. Hehe! A fast and quick update since I need to head out soon and not very sure what time will I be home. :)

Met up with FFB during Christmas for a short catch up. Not that we were celebrating Christmas or anything but that was the only day all of us were free. Apparently, I was schedule on duty to work on that day and so I met them straight after work.

Photobucket
A conversation between Lisah & I. Haha!

And we waited for a good 1 hour before the rest actually came. By then I was already super hungry! So so hungry that I think I could feed on a whole cow. Haha! Had lunch at Texas Chicken as where Mirah suggested since I don't usually have any preferences on where to eat.

Photobucket

And after lunch with them, I to leave earlier while my FFB went to catch a movie together. I wish I could meet them longer. =( But sadly, Azmi was already waiting for me and he felt bored being at home on a public holiday and needed companion. BLEAHZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So upset.

Photobucket
Lisah made this! Can you teach me how to make one please..

---

Azmi and I headed to Vivocity. I did some shopping for myself since I already gotten my Pay day + Bonus. Alhamdulilah! :)

Photobucket
Find this really cool at Cotton On but I guess if I were to buy this letter blocks it will be a redundant at home, my room especially. So, I didn't get them. Lol!

We booked a movie to catch CZ12, Jackie Chan's movie and to kill time while waiting for the movie which will only start in 1 hour and half time, we had desserts.

Photobucket

Photobucket
Chocolate Fudge Brownie & Chunky Munky. Yum yum!

CZ12,

The movie was great! Rating of 4/5 popcorns. Go catch it! And as with Jackie Chan's movie it is usually full of actions and laughter.

After the movie, I head back to Ben & Jerry to buy 2 Ice-cream pints, Strawberry Cheesecake & Cookie Dough flavoured. And guess what? The boy who served me the Ben & Jerry's Ice-cream made a conversation,

Guy: Were you having Ben & Jerry just now earlier on, around 6pm +?
Me: Ermm..yes.
*Looking confused to how he knows.
Guy: Oh actually, I kind of notice you just now, over there.
Me: O_O

Dumbfounded.

And as I was trying to get the Ice-cream from him, he was playing this trick to give it to me and pull it back away from me before he handed me the ice-cream again. Mind you, I hate it when people does that. So annoying. I don't care if he was cute but first he was being annoying and secondly, he had a tattoo. Oh yes, I notice these things. But still, even though I was super that annoyed, I still put on my sweetest smile ever. I had to. Zzz!

---

The next night, Huda (Sis's Boyf, Ressal's little sister) came over and so I had to entertain her since I bought the fishing game for her.

Photobucket

Photobucket

After which, I wanted to bake my Nutella Cookies and there she goes wanting to help. I didn't want her to as I'm afraid she'll make a mess but in the end, I did let her help. Just reminiscing on the days when I was young like Huda and each time when I wanted to help Mama with the baking of Hari Raya cookies, Mama would say no. Do you know how disappointing that was? Lol!

I didn't have her picture of Nutella Cookies version taken but they were so huge! Lol! But seriously, it was cute and so Mama helped me pack her baked cookies in a tupper ware for her to bring back home.

Photobucket

And since there is so much Sales and Christmas just past by, I decided to splurge myself to stock on my VS perfume. And the amount of gifts that I got are still coming in..

Christmas Eve Reunion Lunch

Dear Diary,

Firstly, I would like to thank JM for the treats from Bangkok! They were really nice!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Thank you to my manager for getting my favourite chocolate.

Photobucket
I always love Cookies & Cream

Today was Christmas eve and so my laboratory operates on a half-day. Since my Manager & both my Senior (preparing for Christmas) were absence, I was put in-charge. =) While most people were busy doing their Christmas' preparation, my colleagues and I had some kind of Christmas reunion lunch in the laboratory instead. Lol! We tried to phone for both Pastamania and Popeye for lunch but sadly, they don't cater such delivery services at our area and lastly we had to resort to Pizza Hut.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket
Nice rightttt?! HEHE!

Photobucket
My drawer. Hehe!

The reason why I hate half-day is because I'll always end up being alone. Like forever alone! Azmi and Ayah were busy working, while Mama, Muhammad, Adik & Ressal went out together and I didn't had any plans with my friends, so I had nowhere to go. I thought of heading to the library to just borrow some books and do some reading when JM lay it out to me that the library might be closed due to Christmas eve.

But thank Allah, Mama called me asking if I had anywhere to go and asked me to join them since they were all out to Expo to do some window shopping. Initially, I agree to meet them but it was raining quite heavily at town area and I couldn't make my way to the MRT station. Therefore, I decided to just board the nearby bus home.

But something happened. Something SCARY happened! I was crossing on the overhead bridge heading to the bus stop when this China man called me "Excuse me" many times when finally I heard him because I was on ear piece. I was trying so hard to make sense what he was talking because I couldn't understand his accent and I thought he was asking for direction,

China Man: Excuse me.
Azie: Yes?
China Man: Do you work in trair..ders?
Azie: Sorry?
China Man: Do you work in the hotel? That hotel?

Azie: No.
China Man: Do you SBS?

Azie: Huh? Sorry?!
China Man: Are you..a lesbi...ant?

Azie: NO!

(#&(*##*@! Okay. That wasn't really my reaction. The moment he said that my legs went super wobbly. I feel really really scared. Felt like screaming & crying but I tried so hard to control and compose myself because I don't want people to think that I've been molested or what, which I am not. But it was really scaryyyyyyy, I SWEAR! And the moment when I saw bus 105 approaching at the bus stop, I quickly ran and board it. The exact same feeling I have when some random guy start stalking me. Why do I always get this kind of thing when I am alone ah?! WHY AH?! WHY AH?! WHY AH?! ='( Why can't people just leave me alone when I am alone?!

And seriously, what was that China man thought I was?! Basket! And the other day while I was heading to work in the train, 3 China man were just staring at me. 1 of them started staring and called his 2 other friends, pointing at me and all 3 of them went staring, smiling at me cheekily. I couldn't stand it any more that I left that cabin and walked to another cabin in the train. I don't find Singapore safe any more! 2 encounters with China man, this is getting out of hand!

Ya Allah, please save me from all of these. It's really so so scary. ='(

From wanting to head home to rest, I took the train and went to Expo and meet Mama. I couldn't bring myself to be alone or let anyone "hurt" me like this any more. It's too scary!

After window shopping at Expo, head down to East Coast Lagoon Food Village for some satay while the rest had their lunch. I was craving for some sweet desserts like Ice-cream or cookies & cream milkshake. (This is what happens when Miss M strikes) Therefore, I took my chances to walk around to look for one, but apparently the whole stretch I was walking, the mats were just smiling, probably wanting me to buy something from their stall. I saw my brother buying some Longan juice and he talked to me. The moment they heard me talking in Malay and knew I was Malay, all the abangs, mats and pakciks AUTO...

"Eh Melayu lah dia..."
"Jambu betul lah adik ni. Ingatkan cina tadi."
"Dik, cari apa dik? Datang sini lah."

The fish! The fish! The fish! I quickly walk back to my table and decided to not get anything. Why so stressful one eh? I don't know why people are doing this to me. =( I always tell myself it's okay if I am Nora Danish or Siti Nurhaliza or a Victoria secret model like Candice Swanepoel. But I am nowhere near that. I look like kerepek seriously even I think kerepek look nicer than me. =( Maybe, they are all paedophile for all you know because they might think I am not what I am, as in my age. Scary shit! =(

---

Reached home and at night went gate hunting with Mama. My gate at home, seriously.... Cannot make it! And so we got the Gold one. Yay! New gate for the new year, finally! Alhamdulilah!

Till here, I am craving for some Beancurdddddd...

20.12.2012

Dear Diary,

20.12.2012

I don't really bother so much about this kind of special date because there is nothing really much special in my life, really. But it is during this kind of special date, you see special events are held or even going on. And so when I on my laptop today and went through Facebook, the first thing I saw was pictures after pictures of my friends getting engaged, married and etc.

Then it suddenly questioned me, will I get there one day? You know, getting married with that someone special that you will call, your dearly husband. I don't usually ask this kind of question or rather I have never asked them before, because I have always believed that everyone is made for someone at least in this world. Probably it's Miss M trying to disrupt my levels of hormones. But it did strike me, at this age I am currently now, it is only normal that I have a clear or rather a rough plan on what my future would be, especially getting married and starting a family.

I am not trying to rush into things or neither am I forcing something to happen which is probably not anywhere near happening. But almost all my friends are heading towards that direction except for me and well some others. I have so many wedding invitations to attend next year and probably more to come the year after next year. This sound so depressing for me. Okay, not really depressing but it is, a bit.

But take a look at me now, I almost have everything which I am more than thankful to Allah S.W.T except for this thing call........love.

I don't want to start writing emotional stuff because they will just make my hair stand if I were to read them back again but I did tell myself that between the age of 25-27, I want to settle down but looking at where I am now, I might not even settle down for the next 10 years. HAHA! Okay not funny. Furthermore, I want to get a Degree first before I actually settle down.

Okay, enough of all these talk. JM is finally back from her vacation at Bangkok and she bought more junk food for us to grow fat tomorrow.

Photobucket

And my laboratory is all ready for Christmas celebration, which apparently, I am the one who is working alone on that day. Haha!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Thank you to my manager too for treating us to this Christmas Starbucks treat. Toffee Nut Latte Hot for my manager, Cold for my Senior, CR and Cranberry White Chocolate Mocha for myself. I don't really fancy coffee but this was nice.

Photobucket

Till here.

Clique Meet-up, St Games.

Dear Diary,

Had Christmas gifts exchange with my colleagues the other time on the 14th, which I will not update it today but probably some other time when it's Christmas time. =)) And on that 14th as well, I met-up with my clique. Yes, my poly clique. The people that I finally became close with during my Polytechnic days, people that I finally fit in and feel really comfortable to be with. =)

Polytechnic days and Secondary school/Junior College/ITE days are definitely two different environment I would say. While other school always get to mix with the same bunch of people for the rest of their years, for me, my polytechnic days weren't the same. We were always being put in different classes, different group to work with for every semester, every day. Therefore, finding close friends was almost impossible. But what they say about fate. If it's fated, it's fated. And for that, I am fated to be friends with my clique, they are really a wonderful bunch of people which I am definitely bless to have them around.

Dinner at Fish & Co,

Photobucket
My Japanese Fish & Chips.

I think one day I will conquer all the Fish & Chips at Fish & Co. Apparently, Each time we go to Fish & Co, I will try a new dish of their Fish & Chips. Hehe!

Photobucket
My shared Calamari with Hanali

I thought it was small portion when Hana asked me to share this with her, until the plate came, I was like woahhh! Such a huge servings but it was sure superbly nice and Hana manage to finish it off. Yay!

Photobucket
And my all time favourite drink. Chocolate Ecstasy shared with Sha!

For me this is the sex man! Okay, I was just kidding about that sex part since I have no freaking idea what it is but still, this is seriously the yummious drink everrrrrr. According to Adel, it taste like Marigold Chocolate milk but slightly sweeter. YESSS, remember, I am 100% sugar. ^^

After dinner, we head down to St. Games, The Cathay to play Xbox 360 or rather Kinect as suggested by Hana. I thought it was going to be just another game but boy I was wrong, it was really fun! I enjoyed myself to the max. Well, I'm sure my clique does as well.

We wanted to play 'Just Dance 4' but the bigger rooms were occupied since there was like 7 of us around. So we were placed in a small room first before getting transferred to bigger rooms at a much later time. While in the smaller rooms, we played the Bunny games! We took turns. Whoever win get to stay on the game, while those loses have to stop playing. HAHA!

Photobucket
Azie VS Faiz. My first winning!

I was not bad! Won the first game whereby we have to step onto the Bunny's head. I managed to step more Bunny's head than Faiz did. Haha! But after a while, I kinda lost the game because some games tell us to swim, jump, run & etc because I was wearing my pencil skirt which makes it harder for me to move around. Haha!

Now comes the fun part after we got transferred into the bigger room. We played 'Just Dance 4!!!' This game is seriously awesome. I love to dance despite not knowing how to dance, so this game was like a tutorial for me to just dance-a-long for fun. Hehe! And all of us kinda join in, trying to hit the highest score even though we were just dancing anyhow-ly and it was soooo funny! HAHA!

And as expected, Hana always had the highest score since she's a dancerrrrr. HEHE! But Jojo & Faiz was not bad as well, they had some high score for some of the dance.

Photobucket
Jojo & Faiz dancing

Photobucket

And they were dancing to this song which I think both Jo & Faiz scored quite high.

One Direction - What Makes You Beautiful

And few of other songs which Hana had high score while battling with Pag, Jo & Faiz. HEHE!

Jennifer Lopez - On The Floor

PSY - Gangnam Style

And even this Gangnam style is the hits now, I have no freaking idea how to dance it. And worst, I CAN'T even dance to the beat. I'm a sucker for K-pop or anything. Haha!

And despite all the high scores Hana got, I managed to get a high score on this one. Told ya, I'm better at doing sexy related stuff, sexy pose, sexy dance. HAHAHA! I was just kidding but I was happy when I scored this one. =DD

Photobucket
Great finisher. Yay!

And before I go, I would like to thanks Pag for this wonderful souvenir all the way from Hong Kong. Much appreciated girlfriend! :))

Lil Huda's Birthday

Dear Diary,

Been so busy lately that I didn't have the time to update this little space of mine. Kept reaching home late at night and by the time, I could only have the energy to perform Ishak before heading off to sleep. So many eventful days passed, from Company's Christmas dinner to Azmi 's little niece's Birthday party yesterday and etc etc. Anyway, I shall blog on my company's Christmas day some other time.

I skipped my running routine for today since it was raining and I think Miss M must be on her way here since I'm occasionally always feeling all so hungry and my worst nightmare cravings are back. Hek hek hek! Last check to its countdown: 3 more days!

So yesterday both Azmi & I were on leave. I accompanied him to go get his winning stuff collected. He could have drove his van lahhhhh but he didn't want to but it doesn't matter because going public still rocks my socks to the max!

First stop to Eunos because Azmi wanted to pass some electronic device to his working colleague and since we were nearby on the East side, we decided to have breakfast cum lunch at Bedok interchange food centre. Few things caught my eyes,

Photobucket

Photobucket
This was something that Jie Min actually taught me to eat and love now. Hehe!

So here is breakfast + lunch,

Photobucket
Allauddin's Briyani for me

Photobucket
And Azmi and his usual Nasi Padang favourites.

And the best thing about being off on a weekday, you can disturb your colleagues who is at work. YESSA!!

Photobucket

Photobucket

After food, we went to a few different places from Expo to City Hall and then Tanjong Pagar and etc. So while we were at Tanjong Pagar, Red Traffic Building, I decided to give this place a try since I've seen one of my old schoolmate who usually frequent this place.

Photobucket
The Menu

Photobucket
My mini Sir Cookies & Cream Milkshake

Photobucket
And our Waffle + Maple Syrup with Butterscotched.

Photobucket

For me, it tasted really nice but Azmi didn't really fancy. He said this will be his first and last visit here and I kind of felt sinful after eating this. The concern was not because it's fattening but this place here, is not Halal. They sell pork. =(

---

Dropped off at Ang Mo Kio to meet Azmi 's cousin, Kak Ena because she wanted to pass the cake's receipt for us to help her collect her daughter, Huda's Birthday cake. Which the party was held after Maghrib at Limbang McDonalds.

Kak Ena: Take the cab after collecting the cake, I'll pay the cab fare after that.
Me: No worries Kak Ena, I love to walk. Anyway, it's nearby, we can hand-carry it to the venue.

Apparently, when we reached Lot 1 to chauffeur the 3kg cake to the Birthday venue, we realised the cake was super huge and it was even impossible to hand-carry. Haha! I almost wanted to slap myself for saying I love to walk and I could hand carry it. HAHA! So confident! So, Azmi & I u-turn back home, drive out the vehicle and chauffeur it to the Birthday venue.

So now let the Birthday pictures do the action,

I chose double cheeseburger as my main meal and everybody went "Why Cheeseburger?! Choose something expensive lah!" But I feel bad to "ketuk" people for their money. =(

Really hope Huda will like the present that we bought for her. Anyway, I'm too sleepy already. Company Christmas gifts exchange tomorrow and meeting my Poly cliques/girlfriends for dinner. Goodnight!
