Vanakkam Tekka!

Dear Diary,

It was after work that my colleagues & I decided to explore Tekka. Apparently, my colleagues haven't been to Tekka before and so, my Manager (Helen) decided to bring us a tour. It was definitely a good experience, just like reliving those days during Hari Raya at Geylang.

Thought Tekka would be worse than Geylang but it wasn't. :) And before we actually went touring, we had dinner at Allaudin's Briyani, well it was lunch cum dinner for Zoei & I. Woooo!

And my chendol dol dol.

My colleagues started disturbing me half-way eating about S and seriously, I almost wanted to spit my chendol out. Basket! HAHA! Talking about S, he came just now and Zoei went,

Zoei: Eh Azie! Go lah! Ask him out! Tell him, I'm going Tekka today, would you like to come along?
Me: OMIGOD! Are you crazy?!

And so my days are filled with my colleagues one by one teasing me about S. It's like my forehead has been printed with S name or something, each time they went S S S S. I can go nuts! And not only that happens at work, even at home as well, -_-'

Mama: S S S S, Stop thinking about S already. See your pimples, are you collecting them?
Me: I am NOT thinking about him Mama!
Mama: I seriously want to see this S boy who makes you like this.
Me: It's nothing seriously!

Back to Tekka, the married ones, Charlotte & Helen did their grocery shopping while the non-married ones like Zoei & I just help to look and stare. Lol! Ended the night at Tekka after all of them send me off for threading. Zoei was so cute, she has never seen how threading was done before and so she came really close up to me to see how it was done. When the people who thread told me to stretch my eyebrow area, I closed my eyes and the moment I opened my eyes, to do threading on the other eye, I could see her face. LOL!

Sadly, Jie Min couldn't join us due to her exams, wish she was there as well. But what are work without nice colleagues like me right? Took picture of Punjabi & Sari for Jie Min, since she's working on Deepavali. Yes, Deepavali the HOLIDAY. ALONE. Hehe!

Photobucket

Told her to choose, maybe she could wear one while working. HEHE!

Okay, frankly I should seriously learn to stop disturbing my colleagues, stop disturbing them from my sexy dance, sexy Victoria secret pose, sexy stripping off from the lab coat and self-praise in the lab. HAHA!

Audit

Dear Diary,

Had internal audit on Tuesday and I guess the picture explains it all. Audit dinner to follow up next week. Alhamdulilah!

Well, talking about Tuesday. I wish it would happened again because it was one of the best moment I had in my life after so long. =DDD

---

And well, check out this game on the iPhone. My brother told me to download it and it's called the V-Pet, doesn't it remind you guys of the Tamagotchi as well as the Digimon days? Hehe! Oh mine, died and I have deleted the apps off because I just didn't have the time to take care of it. It kept bugging me to feed it food & vitamins when I'm clearly busy at work. Zzz!

Photobucket

I used to own one of these Digimon device when I was young. I still remember mine was in brown in colour. I wanted to get Yellow but they were all out of stock. Those days that I would just strike up a conversation with strangers and go "Wanna battle?" in my like macam faham tone and attitude. Haha! And I would be one of the few girls like always. I don't know why I was such a tomboy boy when I was young. *Smack head!

And I'm actually craving for one of these as well, gosh! They are seriously yummilicious!

And the other day after my routine jogging, 2 tame cats just came and rubbed itself against me. Sooooooo cute! Hehe! And all my body had their fur stuck on. Not bad ah, the cat also know how to grind like how people grind each other when clubbing, macam faham. Lol!

Samson & Delaila, Kings & Queens

Dear Diary,

Photobucket

Spend my whole afternoon doing housework as usual during the weekends. Did the cooking and stuff for the family. I'm not married yet but sometimes it feels like I've signed myself up for being a part-time housewife plus part-time working adult. For that, Mama always like to tease me if one day, a guy ask me for hand in marriage, the dowry will be pricey! My Mama was just kidding.

Stay put in my room the whole day watching my favourite Drama, Samson & Delaila. And on and off, I did the laundry, cooking & prayers.

This movie is the bomb I tell you! It's like really my kind of drama! I really love how the whole story goes and I like the ending as well. It's sad but at the same time it's sweet! And Delaila is so lucky that she get to marry both the love of her life, Samson and Amir.

I shall not tell you more about what happen but if you're interested to watch, it is currently playing now at Sensasi channel every Saturday, 2330 hours to 0100 hours with 4 episodes being played back to back, which is the one that I usually catch. No matter how sleepy I am, I will try my best to stay awake. But if you really can't, you can catch the one on Sunday from 1130 hours to 1300 hours. Hehe!

Other options? Of course. Own time, own target at:-
Samson & Delaila

---

Yesterday Azmi & I went to watch 'Kings & Queens of Comedy Asia 3' at Esplanade theatre. Azmi won a complimentary ticket for that and I won a pair as well.

This would be my 2nd time watching a Stand-up comedy and what more can I say? I totally enjoy them to the fullest. Makes me really laugh so hard! Their jokes are not really racist but mostly they are plainly on funny fact jokes which I couldn't help it but to agree more or less. Lol!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Jonathan Atherton was the host and he was goooood! Sometimes the way he speaks and tries to make Singlish jokes remind me of my boss! Lol! Kumar was the first to make her appearance and her jokes was awesomeeeeeee! I laugh so hard that I end up laughing + screaming because it was really really really so funny! No any words of funny could explain how funny she was! She is totally the bomb man! I would attend any of her stand-up comedy from now onwards. Hehe!

Ron was second, followed by Virdas. I swear this guy is awesome as well! He made me laugh like crazy. And Shazia was the last to appear but by the time Shazia appeared, I was already too exhausted from laughing. A mixture of hunger + sleepy. Therefore, I end up snoozing off in the theatre. Haha! Hey, it wasn't my fault totally because it was already 2345 hours, the timing was just nice for my bed time.

By then when the stand-up comedy ended, it was already 0000 hours on the dot. The problem comes in when there is no more train as well as buses left. And you don't have a vehicle to drive back home plus taxi would definitely cost a bomb due to the midnight charges! Worse, the bus stop that was nearby didn't have any Night Owl or Night Rider bus that passes through your home.

Checked through my iPhone and realised the nearest NR3 bus that drove past my house would be in Clarke Quay. It was like about 3 kilometres away. And I was in my terrible pain boots shoe but I had no choice but to try walking. You have no idea how painful it was for me! The friction was rubbing and I could feel the heat at the soles of my feet, like blisters are all forming. God knows!

Saw the first bus stop but no sign of NR3 bus on the signboard. 3rd bus stop, 4th bus stop and when finally! By the time I saw the Clarke Quay bus stop, my legs were almost giving up but at the same time I was super delighted because I know I am finally going home. Hunger overcame me by then, when suddenly Azmi went "There is a 24 hours Burger King down there! Do you want to eat something?" I was thinking this is too fattening, I might put on weight but I really need the energy after all that laughing and walking, so I gave in, I ate!

Photobucket

Can't help it to see a bunch of mat reps entering the Burger King late at night eating with their group of friends and their minahs. Those without the minahs, decided to stare & smile at me. Oh boy! Just because I might look young, I am not! You could easily pass to be my little brother for goodness sake. Besides, those kind of boys were never my type from Day 1!

And just coincidently when we finished eating and was walking to the bus stop, NR3 came. We hopped into the bus and about an hour later, I was home. This would be my FIRST time ever getting back home so late at night at 3am in the morning. Haha! Prayed Isyak and then knocked off to bed, which brings me to today. Lol!

Oh what can be "more" exciting when I'm working tomorrow. And all I'm looking forward is a day whereby I could see you. It doesn't matter while I'm crossing the road to work, in the office while I'm signing report, on my way to the wash room or even when I'm heading out for lunch. I wish...I will always keep on wishing. Because you have no idea how much it meant to me just seeing you. Goodnight!

Sentosa Halloween 4D Magix Trail

Backdated - 28 Oct 2012
I finally got the time to blog!

Dear Diary,

Photobucket

I waited for Azmi for about an hour before he actually get himself ready to meet me. I was already a little bit pissed off by then, wanted to cancel the whole meeting but thank God for the free cable car ride, I decided not to.

Made a pit stop at my favourite Candy Empire candyshop, Vivocity to get my Halal gummy bears, chewy cherries gummies as well as my colourful wormy gummies. I just realised all these while the chewy gummy stuff that is available around are not Halal because they contain Gelatine. Zzz! But the one they have at Candy Empire are Halal. Written as Helal in their Turkish language. Go check it out if you're fan of the those gummies like me! Hehe!

Cable Car,

Photobucket

Photobucket

The ride was good but not as scary as the one at Genting. But Azmi still find it a bit scary. Haha! The reason because the cable car doesn't have much window view compared to the one at Genting. Most of the windows are a bit covered with high black stickers that doesn't really allow you to see much surrounding, to add on we took the ride during night time and the ride was shorter. I mean it's Singapore, how long could one cable car ride take to go from one end to the other end right? Right!

But something I find them different here, they have open windows in the cable car which let you feel the slight breeze while you're on top. Oh well, Genting is cold. Why do we even need an open window for? Yes! Still, I give them credit for the cute Angry Bird soft toy at the side for us to hug. Awww!

Sentosa,

Okay warning! Azmi has a slight detestation for ghost and things like this. I didn't know it was to a large extent. Lol! So expect him to be afraid during the whole presence at Sentosa.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Anyway, the moment we touch down from the cable car, his eyes caught sight of someone dressing up like a school girl ghost. The next thing you know, he went '"Let's go home!" Of course not! I mean we have only just arrived and I wanted to see more. I wanted to do the trail! Poor thing, he composed himself and we walked in. This time another ghost came, dressed up in Pyjamas with a broken Teddy Bear and she is all covered in blood. She went "Ahhh!" near to Azmi's neck and you could see his face, a bit frightened. HAHA!

The queue for the 4D Magix Trail itself was super long but lucky we came earlier when the trail was only about starting. We waited for at least an hour before it was our turn to experience the trail.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Even before we enter the trail, Azmi kept asking me if I am very sure to enter the trail. Not because I was afraid, because he was the one being afraid. LOL! The level of fright that I had in a scale from 1-10 is probably 2. Can you imagine him? Probably 8. HAHA! The atmosphere there was dark like you can't even see anything and you could see how secluded the area was with trees and bushes all around, basically like a deserted forest. With an exception, there was many people around which makes it less scary. And at the same time, they had a TV screen going on showing these trailers.

Can you just hear how that girl scream? Even if you don't want to be afraid but just from the screaming, panthing and the way she run in through the forest, just makes your hair stand. Not forgetting the people who dressed up in their Halloween ghost costumes were going around scaring people. So, on and off you can just hear girls screaming because they were either shocked/frightened. And I don't want to say this but seriously, bringing babies and small children (who is afraid) to this kind of function is seriously not advisable. They end up crying feeling scared or babies and when they cry, it makes it scary as well. Who knows the babies saw the 'Real' thing. God knows!

4D Magix Trail,

The trail could take to a maximum group of 8. The person in front of us were friends and there were 5 of them, so Azmi & I had to join them to make up at least 8 people. Apparently, they were from Singapore Polytechnic because they were saying like,

"I want to find Carol..blah blah blah".

Basically their friends were inside the trail dressing up as one of the ghost. So the moment we entered, the lady inside, brief us with this exact same instructions,

Photobucket

Photobucket

Azmi was already quite afraid but I really wanted to go on with the trail and experience them. But what makes it less scary again the lady went "Please do not touch my ghost, I am 100% sure that my ghost won't touch you." That is already a good thing for me because the last time in Escape Theme Park haunted house, the ghost actually touched me which resort to one of the Ahbeng behind us punched his face. HAHA! And the lady go on,"But if you're too afraid just squad down and raise your hand showing like the surrender sign and our ghost will lessen the level of scariness. In case if anything touches you, then that will not be our ghost." Lol!

The moment we enter, the first ghost already scare us. We were in the formation whereby the SP girls were in front and I was 2nd last while Azmi at the back. We were quite lucky that each time the girls in front of us got scare first before us. Apparently, when we moved the ghost at the back will start chasing us. And this is the most joke ever, Azmi got so frightened and he ran after me. He grabbed hold of me and started saying "The ghost is chasing, the ghost is chasing!!!!" All the while when doing the trail, he cling on to me.

There was one part when I decided to go last and let Azmi in front, it was a part whereby this girl dressed up in a nursing uniform all so bloody walking with her trolley that has a dead baby and bloody hospitals equipment. She came really close to our neck and walked passed us and then came running after us with her trolley, Azmi ran for his life! HAHA! By then I pity him too much and so I volunteered to go last. The problem is the "ghost" won't come too close to us even when they were trying to run after us, remember no touching? Lol!

The SP girls were not so scared as well because throughout their whole trail, they were looking out for their friends. And so when one ghost scare them, they'll scream and then went "Is that you carol? Is that you Benjamin?" stuff like that trying to figure out if it was their friend. So, I was not scared by then. To an extent that one end of the journey, their friends recognize the SP girls, he didn't even want to do his scaring part. Zzz!

Despite my not scary moments, I do have a part my scary part of course. Which is the Pocong, the ghost wrapped like a mummy but not really like a mummy. There is difference between a mummy & a pocong.

Mummy is not scary.

But pochong is,

So when this particular pocong came jumping right behind me, the moment I turned, I almost pee in my pants. Lol! But I had to act brave because Azmi was terribly terrified when he saw the pocong, I think almost fainted. HAHA! I turned again to look at the pocong trying to make myself less scared but even for the 2nd time, I felt afraid. By that time, I quickly rushed to move out from that particular trail section. HAHA!

We continued the trail, till we reached the last part of the trail and then we came out from the other end that lead us back to where we first alighted from the Cable car. Turned and one of the ghost followed us through the escalator. Fishcake! HAHA!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

All in all, Sentosa Halloween 4D Magix Trail was good! =) It was worth for the complimentary tickets that we got. I might consider to go again next year but not with Azmi  Lol! While on our way home, we took the monorail and Azmi saw the Spooktacular side at For Siloso with 5 different trails and he went, "I probably faint and won't survive if I do Spooktacular, 5 different trails?!" Lol!

After all that scaring and stuff, we lost a lot of water and became so hungry. Haha! So, supper at Harbourfront Food Centre after that.

Photobucket

And I hope you guys enjoy Halloween as well, to end it off, I baked Halloween cupcakes for my colleagues. ;) Eat at your risk. While some people find it creative and cute, others find it just so gory to eat. Lol!

Photobucket

And my other colleagues bought Strawberry Jelly O. Lol! Food fest in the lab like always. ;)
