Baking fever

Dear Diary,

So I’ve been into this baking mood and seriously can never say ‘No’ when people asked me to bake something. I would definitely DO it. And this was requested by Cik Yati.

Brownies Kukus Lapis Keju, probably the English translation name would be, Cheese Layered Brownies! Lol!

And this is not baked using oven because it’s like a double boil kind of concept and I swear it’s tedious because there’s like altogether 4 different types of ingredients you have to prepare before putting all of them together.

The rating on this was not bad but I just don’t find it sweet at all, I shall increase the sugar content for MYSELF the next time but my colleagues love them. Remember, I’m a 100% sugar when it comes to Koi, SOD and Gongcha. What do you expect? Lol!


The next day, I baked Chocolate Fudge Brownies. I get good ratings for these as well! =) My colleagues, my family and even I love this. As you know some Brownies are crunchy while some are bit soft, this Chocolate Fudge is a mixture of both crunchy and soft. Kinda melt in your mouth. HEHE!

But Mama doesn’t really fancy this because she said it was very sweet but for a sweet tooth like me, it’ll go just fine. ;)

B’s brother tweeted saying it was nice as well. =)

People have been asking me in Facebook if I do ordering. I don’t because I’m not confident enough to take up orders on my baking because it isn't really very good and I think you need to get some licensing to sell fooooood online? I rather not take any risk.

And the other day B gave me a recipe and asked ‘Would you bake 4 me this sayang?’ You know I can never say ‘No’ or turn a request down. So yes, I did it for B.

Not forgetting, Fruit tarts baked by my colleague. Super yummy! I should learn how to make this man!

And B can be really funny at time. I haven’t seen anybody who is already asleep could text but him. Lol!

Anyway, I’m working tomorrow and have so many things to do after work. Like buying contact lens for myself just for Hari Raya and getting a hair cut finally! My hair is exceptionally long and it’s getting thinner and thinner as I comb each day. =( I think I might even lose all my hair one day. =( I thought of dying my hair since I perm them last year for Hari Raya but 2 things is holding me back.

1) I don’t know if dying the hair is Halal or not, I mean the product that they use. I’m afraid my prayers would not be valid if I dye my hair.

2) Perming my hair has already caused enough damage to my silky smooth hair to a new freezy thin hair now, thank you. I don’t know what else would happen to my hair if I’m going to dye them.

So hair cut here I come, like B said “It’s time for a new look.” But I don’t think I’m cutting it any shorter. I used to experiment a lot on my hair on different kind of hair styles, I’ve cut them super short before but I don’t think I want to do it again because long hair to me makes me look a bit mature probably, my age, while short hair makes me look kiddish.

Talking about kiddish! Yesterday, my LV bag handle snap and so I brought my back pack to work instead. B fetched me after work and the moment he saw me, he laughed and said “You look like a sec 5 kid, how adorable!” For heaven sake that will be 6 years ago. -_-‘
