Long Distance Video

¨°o.O (Post) O.o° 1032 hours

I don’t know if anybody has seen this video but seriously, it disgust me a lot. In Malay, we call it 'MELUAT NAK MAMPUS'. Okay, the 'nak mampus' part is just an exaggerating. Hehe! I was hoping to see some romantic values or how they survive their long distance relationship before finally get to meet up with each other, like their webcam-ing experience or something but all I see is none of those but videos after videos of him kissing the girl.

And people who find this video sweet, mostly those youngsters, please WAKE UP. And doesn’t the guy look desperate not?! And I am one of them who have disliked the video! HEHE! It is all up to your opinion but for me, I don’t really trust in a long distance relationship. ‘Trust’ is the main word and I have issue with the word trust. It’s not just easy to say yes I trust you. You might give your whole heart out to someone but can they promise you for sure they won’t destroy that trust of yours?

Girl being girl, we tend to have insecurity at times. So I don’t believe in trusting a guy 100%. And trust me, up to now, I don’t even trust my Boyf 100% because of some reason and I still do question him but gladly, he never fails to understand. =)

Because sometimes even the one you love and is close with
could destroy your trust so easily.
What makes you think the one that is furthest away from you
could uphold to all that?
Especially when they themselves have insecurities.

---

Well, I have nothing much to blog about these few days. I had something in mind but I kind of forget what I was supposed to blog. Maybe, I should make a point to always blog daily even if it’s just a short entry. Zzz!

And looking at how the weather is, the Boyf & I would like to make a trip down to MacRitchie Reservoir. I wish I could sweat and lose some fat and hope my diet is working up well. I need to! I’ve got to. Ciao!

Movies all over again

¨°o.O (Post) O.o° 2358 hours

“Like a toddler who falls down and trying to get herself to stand.

Like someone who loses the battle that they fought so hard and trying to convince themselves that everything is going to be alright.

Like someone who is afraid and trying very hard to overcome their fears.”

It’s almost the exact feeling I’m feeling right now. Despite having a new iPhone 4S which looks carbon copied like my “old” phone, I still miss it a lot. And losing it in a cinema was a pretty bad idea because I just love watching movies and due to this I still couldn’t bring myself to watch movies in the cinema.

Usually the Boyf & I would catch at least 3 to 4 movies in a month. And after so long, I finally tried to overcome my fear of watching movies. Can you seriously imagine me now?! I’m already having phobia to cross the road and now I have an additional phobia to watch movies. The little things in life! Zzz!

The Boyf tried persuading me slowly for a movie, so I agreed. I get to choose the movie and decided on Sherlock Holmes. =) And knowing that I love to do check-in at Foursquare and earn those badges.

Boyf: Dear, you can do your check-in now before entering the cinema theatre, so that while inside, you don’t have to take out your phone and zip your bag.

So sweet right? Hehe! Anyway, I didn’t feel much afraid before entering the cinema but after both of us were seated on our seat, I kind of panic. I kept looking at my phone countless times. Oh yes, you guys have no freaking idea how afraid/phobia/panicky/restless I was! I kept looking if my phone was around and if I have zipped my bag, which I did

And the Boyf being sweet again,

Boyf: Dear, let me keep your phone for you.
Azie: No, I’m afraid if it goes missing again. I’m not going to lose this again. Not anymore.
Boyf:  It’s okay, just silent your phone and give it to me. I keep it for you.
Azie: No, I’m not going to silent it and I’m going to hold it with me. I really don’t want to lose it anymore.
Boyf:  Trust me dear, silent your phone and I keep it for you. I promise, after the movie end, I give it back to you. I promise you that. Trust me.
Azie: Okay =’(
Boyf:  See, here’s your phone. It’s inside my bag now. See it is inside the bag right?
Azie: Yes =’(
Boyf:  And now I’m going to zip it tight. It’s zipped all the way now. And now I’m going to lock it. Touch this, your phone is inside the bag right. Can you feel your phone?
Azie: Yes =’(
Boyf:  Don’t worry anymore.

While giving it to him, I tear. It’s not that I don’t trust the Boyf but I just don’t want to lose my phone ever again. The feeling of me losing my phone and screaming in the cinema theatre looking for my phone keep rewinding over and over again in my mind. And it’s like I could see the same thing replaying right in front of my eyes. I really cannot help it.

And true enough, at the end of the movie, my phone that was sent for safe keeping came back to me safe & sound. So that happens each time when we catch a movie. So far, I’ve watched 2 movies now! =)

Alhamdulilah!

And I think I’m going to fall sick. No sore throat, no cough but I’m losing my voice. What is wrong with me? =’(

O'levels

¨°o.O (Post) O.o° 2314 hours

I have not much things to talk about nowadays. It’s so sad that I don’t even know what to blog. I used to me an avid blogger, not even a day miss to blog. What can I say, things were much different during school days, I ALWAYS had something to talk about, things to blog. And as you get older, things get more boringggg. Well, let’s not say boring but rather routine.

So, the O’levels results have been released few days back. For those who have done well, smile and give a pat on your back! Because you guys did it and I totally understand the feeling of getting that O’levels results in your hands and telling yourself, “Yes! I survived and finally made it this far! I’m getting into a new school, new course that I love people!

And for those who didn’t do well, no worries! Never let things like this bring you down. Yes, I do understand the pain, anger, sadness and all the mix feelings that are just going through inside you because that was exactly how I felt when I got my N’levels results. It’s not that I didn’t do well for my N’levels, I did but I was expecting a straight ‘A’s for all my subjects but I got 2 pathetic Bs in my grade.

And the fact, it is not that you didn’t study and it is not that you didn’t work hard, you DID! You have always top the class but things just go wrong when the results come back. You just don’t know where and what went wrong. It’s just a confuse feeling that you can’t even answer it yourself. You were confident (not overly confident though) but somehow know you would be able to get a grip of your own results but it turn out to be otherwise.

This is when my Mom comes in and always says,

Kita merancang, Tuhan yang menentukan.

It all depends on Him. It’s really never yourself to blame if you have work hard enough and things doesn’t go your way. I don’t know about the others but speaking from my own religion, whatever happens, has their come back, ada hikmahnya disebalik apa yang terjadi. And you have to always keep on trying, never give up and believe in Him. Because He knows you the best and definitely, he has so much better things in store for you.

There is a saying that I always hold on to,

If God grant your wish it means He loves you. If He grants your wish much later than expected, He is putting you to a test to see how great your love is for Him. But if your wish was never granted, that’s because He has something else in store for you and He knows what is exactly is best for you.

Always believe in Him, Allah S.W.T! Amin! So head up, chin up people! Llife has to move on, it’s not easy, yes it's easy said than done, but those hard days will past, trust me! =) Just like now, for me, NOBODY even bother or care about my N'levels or O'levels results on how much I scored super bad or super well the last time. Nobody cares nowww. Zzz!

Made myself hot chocolate, so it’s time for bed now. I have work tomorrowwwwwwww.

Muhammad Nor Farhan & Nur Sabarina!

¨°o.O (Post) O.o° 1942 hours
Congratulations to
Muhammad Nor Farhan & Nur Sabarina Binte Abdullah!

Cousin Boy marriage ceremony was today. The solemnization was held at An-Nur Mosque and this is the first time ever I experience a solemnization that takes place in a mosque and I wouldn’t mind having mine at the mosque. How about Al-Khair mosque? HEHE! I have some ideas flow on how I want my wedding to be but I bet I need super lots of cash for that and yes, I don’t think people would agree, my parents & aunties especially because it’s deem to be TOO MUCH of a hassle and a don’t have to do it kind of a thing because the most important thing is solemnization.

Back to Cousin Boy’s wedding. Apparently we are not allowed to take pictures and even the female and male reception was on different side. I was boredddd because half the time I’m left all alone.

Sissy & Cousin Lyna were busy with their other half (they left the place) and aunties and some other cousins were all busy keeping their guests occupied at their respective table. And Cousin Mas & Nadiah left home after staying for an hour or two. Thank God for Twitter! After much complain, Cousin Fadil, Firman & Brother left their male reception side and went outside of the reception room, where I joined them.

Finally kept me occupied and some laughter going on!

Well, I respect whatever decision or how some couple want their marriage to be because nothing can be deem perfect by humans. One day, some people might not even like my idea of a wedding ceremony. We can’t please everyone you see but at least if we can’t please all, we try to please the majority.

It’s a lesson to learn definitely. Till here people.

Where'd you go? I miss you so

Seems like it's been forever
That you've been gone

She said, some days I feel like sh**

Some days I wanna quit, and just be normal for a bit
I don't understand why you have to always be gone
I get along, but the trips always feel so long, and

I find myself tryin' to stay by the phone

'Cause your voice always helps me to not feel so alone
But I feel like an idiot, workin' my day around the call
But when I pick up I don't have much to say, so

I want you to know it's a little messed up

That I'm stuck here waitin', at times debatin'
Tellin' you that I've had it with you and your career
Me and the rest of the family here singing

Where'd you go? I miss you so

Seems like it's been forever that you've been gone
Where'd you go? I miss you so
Seems like it's been forever that you've been gone
Please come back home

You know the place where you used to live?

Used to barbeque up burgers and ribs
Used to have a little party every halloween with candy by the pile
But now, you only stop by every once in a while

Yeah, I find myself just fillin' my time

With anything to keep the thought of you from my mind
I'm doin' fine, and I'm plannin' to keep it that way
You can call me if you find that you have somethin' to say

And I'll tell you, I want you to know it's a little messed up

That I'm stuck here waitin', at times debatin'
Tellin' you that I've had it with you and your career
Me and the rest of the family here singing

Where'd you go? I miss you so

Seems like it's been forever that you've been gone
Where'd you go? I miss you so
Seems like it's been forever that you've been gone

Please come back home

I want you to know it's a little messed up

That I'm stuck here waitin', no longer debatin'

Tired of sittin' and hatin' and makin' these excuses

For why you're not around, and feeling so useless
It seems one thing has been true all along

You don't really know what you got till it's gone
I guess I've had it with you and your career

When you come back I won't be here and you can sing it

Where'd you go? I miss you so

Seems like it's been forever that you've been gone
Where'd you go? I miss you so
Seems like it's been forever that you've been gone

Please come back home

Please come back home

Please come back home
Please come back home
Please come back home

Hello 2012, have a meaningful one!

¨°o.O (Post) O.o° 0142 hours

Another year has passed! Hello 2012 I say.

And 2012 is just going to be another day of tomorrow of yesterday’s day. To think about it, all of us don’t have to make a new resolution each time of a new year. Why wait? We all can choose to change and make resolution in any other day, if that means to make us a better person. Why not right?

My resolution this year is not really a 2012 resolution but it just happened that I lost my iPhone a few days before the New Year and that was how to ‘zip my bag’ became a New Year resolution for me. Hee!

And I have to start writing my request form the day after tomorrow with a 02 Jan ‘12’ at the back instead of ‘11’. I still remember the last time instead of writing ‘11’, I wrote ‘10’ in the RF and had to change all the dates again in all the hundred over RF. Grrr!

I need to start on my routine jog again. I kept eating like a mother cow! =(  *Rubs tummy* Okay goodnight people!

¨°o.O (Post) O.o° 1215 hours

This was shared by my gf PLP! It’s quite a long read but I find it super meaningful and so here I am sharing with all my loved ones. And I will definitely keep this at the back of my mind too, hoping that our 2012 will be more meaningful.

As a tumultuous 2011 winds to an end, here is a lovely reminder of the
things we can stop doing /start doing to give ourselves that new start
again in 2012
http://www.marcandangel.com/2011/12/11/30-things-to-stop-doing-to-yourself/

As Maria Robinson once said, “Nobody can go back and start a new
beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.” Nothing
could be closer to the truth. But before you can begin this process
of transformation you have to stop doing the things that have been
holding you back.

Here are some ideas to get you started:

1. Stop spending time with the wrong people. – Life is too short to
spend time with people who suck the happiness out of you. If someone
wants you in their life, they’ll make room for you. You shouldn’t
have to fight for a spot. Never, ever insist yourself to someone who
continuously overlooks your worth. And remember, it’s not the people
that stand by your side when you’re at your best, but the ones who
stand beside you when you’re at your worst that are your true friends.

2. Stop running from your problems. – Face them head on. No, it won’t
be easy. There is no person in the world capable of flawlessly
handling every punch thrown at them. We aren’t supposed to be able to
instantly solve problems. That’s not how we’re made. In fact, we’re
made to get upset, sad, hurt, stumble and fall. Because that’s the
whole purpose of living – to face problems, learn, adapt, and solve
them over the course of time. This is what ultimately molds us into
the person we become.

3. Stop lying to yourself. – You can lie to anyone else in the world,
but you can’t lie to yourself. Our lives improve only when we take
chances, and the first and most difficult chance we can take is to be
honest with ourselves. Read The Road Less Traveled.

4. Stop putting your own needs on the back burner. – The most painful
thing is losing yourself in the process of loving someone too much,
and forgetting that you are special too. Yes, help others; but help
yourself too. If there was ever a moment to follow your passion and
do something that matters to you, that moment is now.

5. Stop trying to be someone you’re not. – One of the greatest
challenges in life is being yourself in a world that’s trying to make
you like everyone else. Someone will always be prettier, someone will
always be smarter, someone will always be younger, but they will never
be you. Don’t change so people will like you. Be yourself and the
right people will love the real you.

6. Stop trying to hold onto the past. – You can’t start the next
chapter of your life if you keep re-reading your last one.

7. Stop being scared to make a mistake. – Doing something and getting
it wrong is at least ten times more productive than doing nothing.
Every success has a trail of failures behind it, and every failure is
leading towards success. You end up regretting the things you did NOT
do far more than the things you did.

8. Stop berating yourself for old mistakes. – We may love the wrong
person and cry about the wrong things, but no matter how things go
wrong, one thing is for sure, mistakes help us find the person and
things that are right for us. We all make mistakes, have struggles,
and even regret things in our past. But you are not your mistakes,
you are not your struggles, and you are here NOW with the power to
shape your day and your future. Every single thing that has ever
happened in your life is preparing you for a moment that is yet to
come.

9. Stop trying to buy happiness. – Many of the things we desire are
expensive. But the truth is, the things that really satisfy us are
totally free – love, laughter and working on our passions.

10. Stop exclusively looking to others for happiness. – If you’re not
happy with who you are on the inside, you won’t be happy in a
long-term relationship with anyone else either. You have to create
stability in your own life first before you can share it with someone
else. Read Stumbling on Happiness.

11. Stop being idle. – Don’t think too much or you’ll create a problem
that wasn’t even there in the first place. Evaluate situations and
take decisive action. You cannot change what you refuse to confront.
Making progress involves risk. Period! You can’t make it to second
base with your foot on first.

12. Stop thinking you’re not ready. – Nobody ever feels 100% ready
when an opportunity arises. Because most great opportunities in life
force us to grow beyond our comfort zones, which means we won’t feel
totally comfortable at first.

13. Stop getting involved in relationships for the wrong reasons.
Relationships must be chosen wisely. It’s better to be alone than to
be in bad company. There’s no need to rush. If something is meant to
be, it will happen – in the right time, with the right person, and for
the best reason. Fall in love when you’re ready, not when you’re
lonely.

14. Stop rejecting new relationships just because old ones didn’t
work.
– In life you’ll realize that there is a purpose for everyone
you meet. Some will test you, some will use you and some will teach
you. But most importantly, some will bring out the best in you.

15. Stop trying to compete against everyone else. – Don’t worry about
what others doing better than you. Concentrate on beating your own
records every day. Success is a battle between YOU and YOURSELF only.

16. Stop being jealous of others. – Jealousy is the art of counting
someone else’s blessings instead of your own. Ask yourself this:
“What’s something I have that everyone wants?”

17. Stop complaining and feeling sorry for yourself. – Life’s
curveballs are thrown for a reason – to shift your path in a direction
that is meant for you. You may not see or understand everything the
moment it happens, and it may be tough. But reflect back on those
negative curveballs thrown at you in the past. You’ll often see that
eventually they led you to a better place, person, state of mind, or
situation. So smile! Let everyone know that today you are a lot
stronger than you were yesterday, and you will be.

18. Stop holding grudges. – Don’t live your life with hate in your
heart. You will end up hurting yourself more than the people you
hate. Forgiveness is not saying, “What you did to me is okay.” It is
saying, “I’m not going to let what you did to me ruin my happiness
forever.” Forgiveness is the answer… let go, find peace, liberate
yourself! And remember, forgiveness is not just for other people,
it’s for you too. If you must, forgive yourself, move on and try to
do better next time.

19. Stop letting others bring you down to their level. – Refuse to
lower your standards to accommodate those who refuse to raise theirs.

20. Stop wasting time explaining yourself to others. – Your friends
don’t need it and your enemies won’t believe it anyway. Just do what
you know in your heart is right.

21. Stop doing the same things over and over without taking a break.
The time to take a deep breath is when you don’t have time for it. If
you keep doing what you’re doing, you’ll keep getting what you’re
getting. Sometimes you need to distance yourself to see things
clearly.

22. Stop overlooking the beauty of small moments. – Enjoy the little
things, because one day you may look back and discover they were the
big things. The best portion of your life will be the small, nameless
moments you spend smiling with someone who matters to you.

23. Stop trying to make things perfect. – The real world doesn’t
reward perfectionists; it rewards people who get things done. Read
Getting Things Done.

24. Stop following the path of least resistance. – Life is not easy,
especially when you plan on achieving something worthwhile. Don’t
take the easy way out. Do something extraordinary.

25. Stop acting like everything is fine if it isn’t. – It’s okay to
fall apart for a little while. You don’t always have to pretend to be
strong, and there is no need to constantly prove that everything is
going well. You shouldn’t be concerned with what other people are
thinking either – cry if you need to – it’s healthy to shed your
tears. The sooner you do, the sooner you will be able to smile again.

26. Stop blaming others for your troubles. – The extent to which you
can achieve your dreams depends on the extent to which you take
responsibility for your life. When you blame others for what you’re
going through, you deny responsibility – you give others power over
that part of your life.

27. Stop trying to be everything to everyone. – Doing so is
impossible, and trying will only burn you out. But making one person
smile CAN change the world. Maybe not the whole world, but their
world. So narrow your focus.

28. Stop worrying so much. – Worry will not strip tomorrow of its
burdens, it will strip today of its joy. One way to check if
something is worth mulling over is to ask yourself this question:
“Will this matter in one year’s time? Three years? Five years?” If
not, then it’s not worth worrying about.
My biggest highlight of all!

29. Stop focusing on what you don’t want to happen. – Focus on what
you do want to happen. Positive thinking is at the forefront of every
great success story. If you awake every morning with the thought that
something wonderful will happen in your life today, and you pay close
attention, you’ll often find that you’re right.

30. Stop being ungrateful. – No matter how good or bad you have it,
wake up each day thankful for your life. Someone somewhere else is
desperately fighting for theirs. Instead of thinking about what
you’re missing, try thinking about what you have that everyone else is
missing.

Have a meaningful 2012!
