¨°o.O (Post) O.o° 2307 hours
The boyf was supposed to meet me at 1030am in the morning but he overslept till 1pm! Zzz! I was supposed to head to the bank with him due to some problem I have when updating my bank book account and have breakfast after that. After much hesitation, I decided to make my own way to the bank without him. So, my passbook is fixed.
Along the way, I had few encounters with Chinese aunties as well as some young ones talking to me in Mandarin and I swear it’s so frustrating. Well, being fair (not as fair as some people though) and having mix blood is the most blessing thing one could ever ask for but when it keeps occurring, yes it do get on your nerves. The fact is I’m NOT frustrated at those who speak to me in Mandarin. It’s never their fault because they never know but I feel frustrated at myself because I couldn’t answer them back even when I understand them and worst scenario would be when they don’t even understand English at all. So, I made my mind, it’s either I tan myself or rather I should start taking Mandarin courses.

You wouldn’t want to know how long I waited for the boyf but I left home at 2.30pm. Headed off to Orchard to do my threading and I was afraid if the boyf would angry. But thank God, he didn’t. He waited for me patiently. Alhamdulilah!
Before doing the threading, the boyf saw lines and lines of people queuing up for something and so he joined the queue, and this was the free thingy that we got. Lol!

By the time, it was just nice for us to make our move to Clarke Quay for our ice-creams.
We had trouble finding the place because we had no freaking idea where Central Court, Clarke Quay was located at! And I was wearing my killer boot heels which are like eating my feet so freaking bad. You have no idea how many u-turns, circles and escalators going up and down the boyf brought me just to find that stupid Ice-cream place. Imagine, I could initially run or even laugh but somewhat after that, I just drag my feet and walk like how a tortoise would. I sweat and I respond less to boyf’s question because my feet were KILLING me and I didn’t even bring any slipper along. Very good lah! They say, to gain beauty, you have to go through the pain and so there I got it.
We managed to take some Christmas pictures here and there before we find the Ice-cream booth.

We finally gave up and decided to ask one of the security guard and he directed us to the place. Thinking again, we could have asked him like MINUTES and MINUTES ago right?! And the worst thing, walking all the way to Central Court takes at least 1.5 Kilometres. And at that point of time, when boyf & I were going down the high staircase, I lost my balance and I FALL DOWN. Yes, I miss a step and I didn’t even have the energy to balance myself well to not fall! So one particular guy who were going up the staircase quickly hold on to me and when boyf saw me, he quickly grabbed me by the arms. Lucky, I didn’t suffer any bruise or anything but I sprained my freaking ankle! I didn’t even look up after I fall because I was superbly embarrassed! There were a lot of people there can?! And usually when I’m embarrassed, I end up crying. Yes, I will really cry! But the boyf was so sweet, he held me on the waist while walking and comforted me so well. He wiped away my tears and asked me if I was really fine and I could really walk. He even mentioned that he’ll get me a slipper after this and no more wearing boots. =(
By the time when we reached the Ice-cream place, I totally forgot all about falling down, sprained ankle or whatever. Ice-cream was the main target in the mind. HEHE!
Lots and lots of people were there but it was all worth it! So many different flavours to choose from! And the good thing is, we got free coupons to buy Ice-cream. All you have to do is go to Facebook type Starhub Entertainment and click ‘Like’. Show it to the Information Counter and you will receive 1 free Ice-cream coupon. I went once and I asked boyf to go again using my phone and so, we got 2 free Ice-cream coupons. HEHE!
We had,
2 scoops Ice-cream flavoured Gula Melaka as well as Root Beer float at Marble Slab Creamery booth. It cost us $5 for that.
And then I bought this Strawberry Cheese Ice-cream for free using the Coupon voucher at one of the stall I forgot what it’s called but it’s near the entrance on your right when you come in. It’s really cute, the heart-shaped Ice-cream. It cost $4 though without the coupon.
Third, boyf bought Horlicks Tim Tam using his coupon voucher at Salted Caramel booth. It was really nice. Cost $4 per scoop without the voucher.
Last but not least, I bought 2 scoops of Marble Slab Creamery Double Chocolate Banana as well as Red Velvet.
And the Ice-cream we tasted is all yummy! =) And this is the first time ever I indulge myself in more than 1 ice-cream in a day! I feel like going there again but my money is already depleting much. All these spending has been on me since weeks and weeks but it’s alright because Mom always tell me to spend because life is short, feel whatever you want to feel, buy whatever you want to buy. But of course, you have to save some and there is a limit to what you want to feel or buy. Duh uh~!
After Ice-cream indulgence, we wanted to catch the movie, ‘Ra One’ at Golden Village, Yishun. But apparently when we reach there, the ticket was selling fast and it cost $22 for two tickets and we couldn’t use the free pass voucher for that movie. So, we decided to give that movie a skip and watch on weekdays instead at Tiong Bahru because it will only cost us just $5 for two tickets!
Boyf wanted to head home to catch his soccer but I still want to spend some time with him. So, we walked around Northpoint and boyf told me to buy a new slipper, he even chose the slipper for me. -_-‘ We had dinner at the Northpoint Food court after that. I wanted to do BBQ Chicken but the boyf told me it’s expensive and I should spend less. So here is what we got.

After dinner, while walking to the MRT station, I bumped into my ex-colleague, Swetha. So happy to finally meet her again! I really miss her, those days we had in the lab. =) Reached CCK, I wanted to get myself a Hot Chocolate at McCafe and again I was stopped by the boyf. ZzZzZzZzZzZzZz!!!!!! Boyf went “Count how much you’ve saved by skipping BBQ Chicken & Hot chocolate today. I bet at least $50 or more.”
Wah! That’s why we complement each other sometimes. -_-‘ I don’t understand myself today, really because I should be the one who usually save a lot. Maybe, I just feel the need to splurge. HEHE! And Gemini never understands herself too always because there is always 2 sides of Gemini. Oh well, whatever. Till here, goodnight world and my feet still hurt like crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
I really had fun today despite the fall. Thank you boyf for bringing me to the I Love Ice-Cream feast thingy. <3
